Went there we couple friends so we got to order lots of different appetizers and main dishes. Everything was so good!!! The spinach artichoke dip was excellent, so was the pizzas. The drinks were great! I can't think of one bad thing. Definitely would go back. View all feedback.
What Brendan Halpin doesn't like about The Tipsy Boar:
We are locals and have gone ro Tipsy Boar a few times with no complaints except now. Our main coarses came out fairly quick and was really disappointingly luke warm. Who wants almost cold mashed potatoes? You get a smaller portion than in times past which is now listed as MP on the menu. The steak was oddly presented in various shapes. The demi glass wasn't as rich as it was in the past. As I mentioned, potatoes cold... View all feedback.
Large craft beer selection and gourmet comfort food at a fair price. I had the delicious tipsy boar burger with fries $17) and the chocolate hazelnut Stout. Good selection of rock background music. Over 30 crowd. Many TVs with sports on but the bar does not have a sports bar vibe, it's more of a sophisticated pub feel. Nice outdoor seating. Attentive service.
Thanks to Tipsy Boar! It was hot and humid but even though we were a few minutes before the start of lunch they let us in to cool off. Service(from Maryanne , as usual, was TERRIFIC, the beer glasses so cold fingerprints got left on them and the pizza(even with the smiley face? was very good!!
The Tipsy Boar Gastropub in Hollywood is a fantastic spot for a casual night out. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, from juicy burgers and savory appetizers to fresh salads and gourmet entrees. I highly recommend the Croquettes. The craft beer selection is impressive, with over 40 beers on tap. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re there for a meal, drinks, or to catch a game, The Tipsy Boar is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Local watering hole, decent selection of craft beers. Good spot to watch a game or a fight. Staff is friendly. Always a good time.
Our server was Glenn and he was sooo nice! He recommended the passion fruit margarita to me and it was delicious. I got the pulled pork sandwich and goat cheese croquettes and my spouse got the chicken wings with yellow rice and beans. All was sooo delicious. Goat cheese croquettes were sweet, creamy, and savory. Pulled pork sandwich was smokey, salty, and sweet. Chicken wings were savory and well seasoned. If we lived in the area and weren’t on vacation we would 100% come back!!
