What Jonh Doe dislikes about Off Vine:
Quite honestly the food was just ok. My wife's salmon is better and the carrot mixture served with it was too sweet. My Chicken Piccata had a nice flavor but nothing special but the mashed potatoes were much better than the carrot side dish. The chocolate mouse dessert was very good and the berry pie tasted fresh. Really great spot for brunch off bustling Vine. The garden patio is quiet, peaceful and absolutely bursting with green. It felt like an oasis. The food is also very good. My blueberry pancakes had big, fresh blueberries in them. My husband's smoked salmonscramble was pretty good even for someone who isn't crazy about smoked salmon. I guess it wasn't overly smoked and strong? Ourlittle dog was welcomed.
This is an LA (unheralded) gem. The food, atmosphere, and service are top-notch, and the location is central to a lot of Hollywood attractions. I overheard one of the staff members say they are closing in April (2023) because of the continuingexplosion of condo development in the area, so hurry in and enjoy before it's too late. Be sure and sit in the outside patioarea if you can, it's really very nice out there.
Such a great find on a chilly, rainy fall day! The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the staff Is friendly, attentive and just as warm. For our lunch, we sat next to the fireplace and started with soup and sandwiches and ended with a chocolate soufflé. Thefood was delicious! Bonus: they are open on Mondays! You can’t go wrong with this place!

Off Vine offers a delightful outdoor seating area along with a warm and inviting indoor space. Depending on where you're seated, the area can sometimes feel a little tight. We booked a table for a Sunday...
This was my first time visiting, and since I work just across the street, it was a convenient spot. Wow! I truly love the atmosphere here. It’s a charming and cozy little restaurant with a warm and inviting interior.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is always excellent, and equally important is the way the staff makes you feel at home every single time. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and romantic. I highly recommend it!
The food was absolutely delicious! However, the waiter was quite rude and seemed rushed, as if we were bothering him. On the other hand, the manager and busboy were wonderful! Unfortunately, I would never return if it meant having the same waiter. If he's in the service industry, he really needs to work on his attitude.

We sat outdoors on a beautiful evening. Hard to believe you are only a few minutes from Hollywood or Sunset when the restaurant is so quaint and quiet. Food was FANTASTIC the appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all just amazing. Not inexpensive or super affordable at the high side of the designation for sure. Our waitress was also really kind and pleasant she knew some of the other patrons by name and was very attentive with us as well.

This is my go to restaurant before I catch a show at the Pantageous. Make sure you order the souffle the minute you sit down. The menu is all delicious

The location and building are amazing. Old construction home acted in the middle of modern urbanism. Beautiful and calming environment hidden behind natural greenery in the heart of the city. Food was fantastic and the service was pleasantly perfect. No matter what you have for your meal get the soufflé for dessert. Always.

This restaurant is an undiscovered gem in LA. The food, atmosphere, and service are all outstanding, and its location is perfect for accessing many Hollywood attractions. I overheard an employee mentioning that they would be closing in April 2023 due to the ongoing surge in property development around the area, so be sure to visit before it’s too late. If possible, try to sit on the outdoor terrace; it's truly lovely out there.
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy some wine. The garden terrace is tranquil, serene, and filled with lush greenery—it truly felt like an oasis. The food was delightful as well. My blueberry pancakes were packed with large, fresh blueberries. My husband enjoyed his smoked salmon toast, even though he's not typically a fan of smoked salmon. I suppose it wasn't overly smoked or overpowering? Plus, our little dog received a warm welcome.
What a fantastic discovery on a chilly, rainy autumn day! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and just as welcoming. For lunch, we settled in next to the fireplace and began with soup and sandwiches, followed by a delicious chocolate soufflé for dessert. The food was absolutely delightful! Plus, it's a perk that you're open on Mondays! You really can't go wrong here!

We were touring some family around the sites and walked a couple blocks off the main drag to find this spot. Well worth the walk, they hustled to sort out a table for 8, the flowers, house, and decor were lovely don't miss the inside, it is also very beautiful. Food was fresh, fast, and delicious. Our server was the perfect balance of friendly and hands off, and corrected a mild mistake with comping the dish that was forgotten. Everyone enjoyed their food, and with a group of 8 including international travelers that is a near miracle.
