What ciaran o brien doesn't like about X:
I've been to El Vino a few times, usually a few months in between visits. Latest visit showed a massive dip in the quality of food/ ingredients. Perhaps inflation is causing issues which is understandable. However, the drop in quality is massive in their food. Service was beyond reproach, the wine was amazing. But the food was underwhelming. The lady staff on that evening was very lovely and accomodating. The ambience was cosy enough. Calamari was really tasty. Ordered Paella as main. It was tasty but I wouldnt say it is authentic, it is more of a risotto I think. Overall the place did not disappoint. Would try again next time View all feedback.
