The Blind Pelican Seafood House

We had a wonderful experience dining there for the second time. Although we had to wait an hour, we were able to sit at the bar, which turned out to be just fine. My wife and I ordered the Medusa, and it looked just like the picture I uploaded. Every dish was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. However, I think $100 is a bit high for what we received, and we ended up needing more food to feel satisfied. On the other hand, the smoked old fashioned was amazing, though it was pricey at $15. Overall, we would definitely consider returning, but spending over $170 for two people without ordering an appetizer or dessert feels a bit steep.

Absolutely the best Bloody Mary experience I've ever had! Everything was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and could be sliced with a butter knife. The crab legs had meat that came out of the shell perfectly intact. The oysters were deliciously salty and just right. The Bloody Mary had the perfect amount of spice – a flavor rating of 10 out of 10. I can't wait to go back tomorrow! Both the bartenders and our servers were fantastic. I couldn't recommend this place more!

I discovered this restaurant on Facebook a few months ago, and my friend and I finally had the chance to visit today! It was fantastic. The cocktails were both beautiful and delicious, and the food was even better. We started with the buffalo shrimp appetizer, enjoyed a **** Mary, and added scallops based on our server's recommendation (there are multiple Joshs, but he referred to himself as "medium Josh" and he was wonderful). We also had "Casino" oysters and hush puppies. Everything was incredibly tasty, and we will definitely be returning soon—this time we'll be sure to ask for medium Josh! Thank you for a great dining experience!

Great place for a party. Staff was fantastic, large seating area. If you want outdoor seating come early. Good selection of seafood on the menu, but some veggie options along with the trusty burger. Full bar, large beer wine selection! Service was really good and food came out faster than we thought. This would have been a 10/10 but wife's pasta was warm, wish it was hot.. Still going with 5 stars. We will be back.

A great place to eat with courteous staff who are coming to your table regularly to see if you need anything or refills for drinks. They seat you promptly. The side dishes were very tasty with Cole slaw served in a traditional North Carolina style. The fried okra was hot and very tasty. The buffalo shrimp appetizer with blue cheese sauce was very good. I highly recommend it. Also,The Salmon was good, but needed less salt in the seasoning on top of the fish. Otherwise, an excellent eating establishment with reasonable prices and bang for your buck on food served to the customer. Definitely will go back again; So go to The Blind Pelican for great seafood and sides and I here the drinks are phenomenal.
