What User doesn't like about Safeway Liquor:
The food intake was terrible. I hurt my knee and couldn't go, so I thought I would use the curb-side food service instead of driving around the mobile car. My order should be made at 1PM, but I had to call and ask why it was 3PM and I had not yet informed that it was complete. The food intake was terrible. I hurt my knee and couldn't go, so I thought I would use the curb-side food service instead of driving around the mobile car. The man told me it was ready, but they just didn't mark it, so I wasn't reported. The substitutions were not comparable. I ordered a 12pack of 12oz cans, but got a 6 pack of 7.5oz cans (but I was still loaded for the 12pack) I ordered 36 string cheese sticks and got a 12 pack of cheese slices? Still charged for the original article. The buyers must be trained better. I'm very disappointed.
You drive up is so garbage it is always a terrible experience, from missing items to meat packaging, which all say about fresh food to them treats, items are no longer in stock and I go in to find a fullness of the article. Just go inside and save the effort! Your drive is a joke
Manager David did not follow with a big purchase that was defective after his team knew it was missing pieces when placed in my truck. He didn't care about customer services at all.
I went to Safeway to buy oysters, I got there at 7:20pm and they close at 8pm in the meat&fish product dept. The employee said that he can't help me because he's training somebody and I asked him nicely if he could just help me real quick because it doesn't take that long to pack the oysters and the fact that they're still open but he said he can't. I was so disappointed. My wife went there to try if they'll help her she got there 7:25pm and same thing he didn't help her. My wife called the manager and told about the concern. The manager talked to the employee if he can help her and the employee told to the manager that he can't because he's training somebody and asked the manager to watch the trainee so he can help my wife but the manager didn't do anything. So they ended up turning away customers. The manager could've done something to this problem since the employee offered an alternative way to help my wife but he wasn't willing to watch the trainee. I understand if you're short staff but if the customer got there on time no matter what you still help customer. This is one of my BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT to Safeway Hollister! Hope this won't happen to other customer.
