The food was ok. I was hoping for more flavors but typical diner food. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Although not sure if they're going for an unfinished barn look. There were small visible wall openings on the ceiling and planks that may have been left over. Again not sure the type of look for the restaurant. We sat down fairly quickly and got our food quickly. Garlic fries were too garlicky and the sourdough chicken sandwich was ok. My partner had a medium burger that looked, well done.
The Running Rooster restaurant is a charming little dine in with a delicious menu. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by an enticing aroma of freshly prepared food. The menu provides a list of amazing food made with high-quality and fresh ingredients. Whether you're craving a juicy burger, a refreshing salad, or a decadent dessert, Running Rooster delivers on flavor and presentation. We tried the barnyard fries and jalapeño popper chips and dip as a starter. They did not disappoint! I am a big fan of jalapeño poppers so this starter was a must try. The flavor left me wanting more. We ordered chicken strips and fries for our kiddo and he ate the whole thing…(very rare! The fries (and everything else I swear are cooking in oil from the heavens. The food was not too oily and didn’t leave an oil taste in your mouth like a lot of other restaurants. My husband grabbed the Cowboy burger and I had the El Jefe. I was much more of a fan of the Cowboy as the spices were very potent. We love love love the yee-haw sauce!! It sounds spicier than it is and I could have dealt with more spice, but it is perfect for everyone! We were expecting to spend $150 on ALL that we ordered, but were pleasantly surprised that it was not that high. Overall, Running Rooster Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
This is a nice restaurant with an extensive menu. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. When I got here there was a twenty minute wait. Once I was seated, I ordered a lemonade with no ice, which tasted good, and the Rocky Balboa pizza, which is a pizza with honey glaze, salami, cheese, and pepperoni. This pizza tasted quite good, but I had to wait a little for it to cool down because it was very hot. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. The bathrooms here are pretty clean and have a nice siding. Interestingly enough, the men’s bathroom has a urinal right next to the sink, so if you’re using that urinal the sink is directly behind you. I gave this restaurant five stars because it has good pizza.
The desert pear margaritas are simply the best tasting ever. And the chicken sando, the pizzas? Fuhgetaboutit!!
