Mr Gilberti's Place Chicago Pizza

One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. We ordered the Mr. Gilberto Chicago style pizza. The menu said it would be 30 to 60 minutes until we got our pizza and it came in about 25 minutes. The pizza was done perfectly and was one of the best, if not the best we've ever had. Their sauce is great and there are plenty of ingredients, including meat, which is rare. The best part of the pizza is their marinated peppers. They are slightly sweet and really stand out and make the rest of the ingredients play well together. The seasoning that is sprinkled on the top brings out the flavor of the tomato sauce. The staff is exceptional. The run around d the place and make sure everything is perfect and if not, remedies it immediately. The atmosphere of the place is old-school Italian and is decorated with MANY pictures of happy and famous patrons. To top of the great meal, they had a lemon cake for dessert. It was sublime and it tasted as good the next day as it was that night. This place is a must stop!! Not sure we can get a chance to drive 650 miles to visit again, but certainly will if we are ever even within 2 hours!!

LITERALLY the best pizza I've ever had in my life and I live in a food capital! Amazing service and everything down to the ranch is homemade! I can't believe you don't have to wait months for a table here!!!!Kid-friendliness: I brought my 1 year old and 2 year old and they were Extremely accommodating, made room for the stroller, had good high chairs, and a kids menu!! Their fries are also homemade and the perfect thickness for small kids!

It's a good spot to grab a deep dish pizzaService was great, they were very attentiveLasagna was good and the deep dish Mr g is nice pie but the star was the crab rangoon apps, highly recommended those

Best Pizza we ever had, hands down! This restaurant is off the beaten path it was highly recommended by the locals, so we gave it a try and before we leave we're going back for more. Can't explain it, it's just delicious. Gotta try the lemon cake also. Enjoy!
