Mr. Gilberti's Place - Hollister

Really saucy Chicago style pizza. Very flavorful. Large pizza is massive. I asked for extra cheese because the photos of pizza appeared heavily sauced. Leftovers were still great and not too greasy/soggy. Huge shareable salad. Bathrooms and restaurant appeared clean. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Ordered a cannoli to go. They slightly scorched the cannoli. Was disappointed that they didn’t fry a new cannoli instead of sending us home with a box of cannoli that had burnt edges. Cannot get the burnt flavor out. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience and would return if in the area.

Awesome eatery! Can’t do dairy so they made a pizza for me without cheese! Awesomeness abounds!!!! Others at table had the strawberry cake pictured! Fabulous!!! Brittney was professional and fun and watched out for my dairy issues! The best!

This place honestly blew me away. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is great! I greatly enjoyed listening to the big band brass music in the background! It really set the tone! I ended up talking for quite a while to the owner and my waitress. They have an awesome 20's-30's type of vibe to the whole place. They are pretty heavily Mafia themed with the waitresses even wearing aprons that look like the pinstripe suits of the 20's and Fedoras to match. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants Italian food and wants a great experience while you are at it!

First off, if you haven?t been here you are truly missing out on something special! It?s a little gem tucked away in the ozark mountains! Chicago style pizza is what they do and the next best?. You will have to go to Chicago to find it! There is no other place putting out this kind of quality! Also as a added bonus, the photos they have up all over the restaurant that showcases the local and national celebrities that called Mr. Gilberti?s Place home as well. Is a treat in themselves!

If you stop from Branson, that's where you are! Authentic Italian and Chicago Deep Dish! They do their sausages! We ate the artichoke dip, cheese bread and the All Meat Pan Style pizza. Both were so delicious! Take out is available as well as take and bake. Friendly and funny staff! The deep dish takes a while, so ready to wait, but it is worth it!
