Waverly Stone Gastropub - Holland

I understand the waitress wants to turn tables quickly, but I felt rushed from the get go. Just wanted to have a nice dinner without being in a hurry for once. Appetizer was great, my wife's dinner was great, but my scallops risotto was very over cooked. Having said all that, it's a great place, and we will definitely be back again.

Nice atmosphere lively without being too loud. The server was friendly and attentive and checked to see if an appetizer that had been sold out earlier in the day was available again (it was! . My husband had the Basmati Rice Bowl with chicken and I had the chorizo burger. Both were excellent. My only disappointment was with the fries they were typical and given the creativity of the rest of the menu, I expected more. That's the only reason I didn't give the food a 5 so kind of nit picky on my part. We also had the baked Halloumi cheese (a must which was great. Overall, a good value and we would go often if we lived in the area.

Excellent home-cooking comfort style food. salmon and mahi both cooked to perfection. kimchi was the best i’ve had and put the meal over the top. great wine selection. cool vibe. i would eat there once a week if i lived in Holland as it’s great for every day dining, but also good for special occasions.

You can expect the overall quality of the dinning experience to be consistently good.
