Gardens are well kept, everything was clean and filled with lovely inn decorations, the staff was fantastic, the restaurant and staff were also just the best! Close to town. Make sure while in Squam to hire Cindy at Experience Squam to take you out on the lake in her awesome Sea Ray. Service: 5

The pla... read more We stayed in the Bennett Cove room. This stay met and exceeded our expectations for our visit Oct 9th 2024. All the staff were amazing and so welcoming. The place felt so very cozy and personable. The restaurant attached to the inn was five star as well and yes even the locals reserve a table well in advance. You will not have cell service in this area. The WiFi calling worked fine though. It was not a direct walk to the lake but about a five to ten minute walk. I will recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks. So glad to find an inn still managed by locals and not a corporation.

Our Superior room accommodations were truly a TEN; we loved the tasteful decor and personal touches!!! Service from all the hosts and staff made us feel welcome and valued as guests!!! My only comment would be that we found the room, the Eagles Nes... read more We loved our stay at the Squam Lake Inn! The entire staff was 5 star pleasant and accommodating. My only comment would be that we found the room, the Eagles Nest, to be quite small and cramped for the cost, (approximately $370 nightly for a Sunday Tuesday stay). But the rate does include the complimentary breakfast which is beautifully presented and absolutely scrumptious. The room was well appointed and comfortable I just thought it was slightly overpriced. The bathroom is huge but essentially open space with one very small table to set your toiletries on. It could certainly be better outfitted. We 100% loved our stay though and would return hoping off season rates might be slightly less. We visited in August.
