My fiance and I went to Val's for the first time. Upon entering the staff immediately greeted us and informed us there was a 20 minute wait. The place was jam packed with people and there didn't appear to be a dress code. I mention the dress code because some of the fancier dining restaurants tend to discourage informal dress attire. I wanted to update my previous excellent review because the last two times we had dinner with friends there, despite spending a lot of money (we always leave a generous tip), we all felt rushed. I understand that it was a Saturday and the restaurant wants to serve as many customers as possible, but I go out to have a good time and don't appreciate the waitress taking my plate when I haven't finished my food or asking... Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience over the weekend hosting a baby shower for our son and his girlfriend. Val and her staff were extremely professional, helpful, and kind from the first call to inquire to the end of the shower. Val herself even helped to serve our guests. The venue was stunning and the food was delicious! We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate! A huge thank you to Val and her team for welcoming our family and helping us to celebrate such an exciting moment!
Val's is a great place, awesome food, friendly servers and nice atmosphere. Chicken parmesan is consistently very good and the sauce is flavorful. I get the Chicken parmesan routinely, it's my favorite. The salmon, steaks, burgers and sandwiches are always great. On our recent visit, we sat next to the jazz trio on the far end of the dining room which added to the positive dining experience. Love the bread pudding, highly recommend you try it. So happy that we had our wedding at Val's. Everything was perfect, love the function hall in back, awesome staff.

The food amazing there. This was 2nd time going there and the second time didn’t disappoint me. First time I got Eggplant Parm and this time Fried Clams. Our waitress was eh she never checked in on use until we were done. We had to ask another waitress for another drink. The first waitress was on her toes I think we saw her every 10-15 mins checking on us. I will definitely be back again.
