She did such a great job and gave her a real nice tip. She was so sweet. We visited last weekend and I intended for a big order to bring home as it was our last weekend at our resort home before closing up shop and winterizing our mobile home. We always order the portobello mushroom fries at Phats ... SO GOOD. chicken strips and pizza are amazing. I have never had better chicken strips than at Phat 's... not joking. This last weekend I wanted to try something different. I ordered the blue gill and it was ok . Wouldn 't order again but not bad either. Just meh. I was more excited about the breaded bone in garlic Parm wings which I wanted to take home for lunch the next day. The kitchen boxed them up for me with ranch $11 bucks for 8 big bone in wings not bad). I tried to eat later that night and they were SO salty they were literally inedible. And I can handle salt more salt than regular people). I saw that whoever cooked my wings not only added the salty garlic Parm sauce which I requested of course). Then sprinkled coarse salt on top of the sauce. My husband watched me take a bite at home and I thought ok I will salvage these and I peeled off the breading thinking the meat will be ok... NOPE! There must be a brine of salt that these things are soaked in. I am a HUGE chicken wing fan. I know the sodium content of commercial wings before I buy them. I pay attention to labels. The new Casey 's General store wings have 400 MG of sodium per wing. Check me on this. These Phat Bobs wings I would bet a thousand bucks have a sodium content of maybe 600+ mg per wing. I couldn 't eat them they were so salty. Really sucks cuz I was in the mood for wings too! Tonight when we got home from vacation .. I ordered some plain....naked chicken wings from Family Restaurant in Sparta. They do not put seasoning or salt on their naked wings because they know the sauce will more than make up for the sodium content. I order these sometimes and then toss my own sauce.... got my wing fix tonight lol. Anyways still try Phat Bobs. Their food is good but those chicken wings WOW. If you have high blood pressure or moderate do not order these! also... vaping shouldn 't be allowed in any bar. Smoking is banned in any public establishment in Wisconsin. Why is vaping allowed? There are thousands of toxic chemicals in vape liquids. There were many customers vaping at the bar. There was a cloud hovering over the bartender. You can 't get away from it if you 're inside. ?
