I mistakenly gave my Doordash order to the wrong person at this restaurant. They were chatting with their friends and did not start remaking my order even after Doordash called them to notify them of the mistake. I was thrilled with the outcome of the cake, but I found the price to be a bit steep. The photo on the cake and the design were both done exceptionally well! My daughter was overjoyed!
I picked up an ice cream cake for my grandson with a Minecraft picture on it. I ordered half of the sheet cake in just vanilla without cookie crunchies, as that's his favorite. The other half was regular chocolate and vanilla with chocolate cookie crunchies. They got it perfect! My grandson was thrilled!
This Carvel location in Holbrook, NY is the best. Their ice cream is consistently delicious, with smooth, thick and creamy soft ice cream that doesn't melt quickly like the one in Medford, NY. The dashers are amazing and I have never had an issue here. The service is good, the store is clean with nice bright lights. Although I miss some of the workers who used to work here, they were always friendly and made our orders just the way my family likes it. We will always choose the Holbrook Carvel over any other location.
I love their flying saucers. I purchased chocolate and vanilla flavors, and when I bought two, I got one 50% off. The total cost for two was under $20. If you only buy one, it will cost about $13.99, if I remember correctly. I appreciate the savings since I haven't won the lottery yet. Delicious!
