Excellent service—quick, courteous, and patient. I highly recommend this place for a high-quality, authentic meal in Hokitika! It's wonderful to have them in the area.
This was the only restaurant open for lunch at 2:30 PM, so we decided to give it a try. We had delightful pan-fried pork and vegetable dumplings, as well as beef brisket stew with tomatoes and a serving of stir-fried chicken in oyster sauce. All the dishes were either good or very good. The spicy sauce paired perfectly with the noodles and dumplings, and the portion sizes were generous. The service required us to ask for items like water, and there seemed to be a slight language barrier. However, overall, we were very satisfied with our experience. I'm not sure why the rating for this place is so low.
I ordered the Mongolian beef, and it was incredible! This is the best Chinese meal I've ever had on the Coast! A big shoutout to the easteat team for raising the bar in the local restaurant scene!
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. not totally authentic, but close enough. prices are alright too. we were the only people in the shop. hope they stay in business!
We had a delicious dinner here would definitely recommend its on the quieter side of town but the staff are so friendly and the food came so quick would fully recommend!
