Contribute FeedbackNestled in a quieter part of town, this restaurant boasts a diverse menu with generous portions that emphasize Asian flavors. While it offers some vegetarian and customizable vegan options, diners should be cautious with sauces like oyster and fish sauce. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, adorned with floral table decor, making it an inviting spot for takeout or a casual meal. Many patrons praise the speed of service and the friendly staff, citing highlights like dumplings and Mongolian beef. Despite some mixed opinions on specific dishes, the overall dining experience remains satisfying and notably affordable.
The service at this restaurant is exceptional - prompt, polite, and patient. I highly recommend it for a delicious and authentic meal in Hokitika. It's fantastic to have them in town!
Was the only place serving lunch at 14:30 so we went for a lunch to this restaurant. Had very nice pan-fried pork and veggie dumplings. Beef brisket stew with tomatoes and a portion of steer fried chicken in oyster sauce. All food was good or very good. The spicy sauce they had went very well with the noodles and dumplings. The portions were generous. For the service you would have to ask for things (e.g. water) and there seems to be a slight language barrier, but, overall, we were very satisfied. Not sure why the rating is so low.
The meal was thoroughly enjoyed, and the portions were very generous.
Ordered the Mongolian beef and it was amazing! Best Chinese meal I've ever had on the Coast! Top work to the easteat team for stepping it up a notch in the local restaurant scene!
The restaurant offers a diverse menu with many meal options. The staff is friendly and the food is served quickly with a fresh taste. Many people come in for takeout. The restaurant space is comfortable, clean, and each table is decorated with flowers. Lovely!
