The Saddle Room - Hoffman Estates

Just visited (8/31/2020) for my birthday and we should originally be out, but rain was on the forecast. They always have a great service, but the additional steps they have taken to our security during these Kovid times was great! The front door was open all the time so fresh air in, they distributed all diners far apart, used disposable menus, and the staff all wore masks. I recommend a visit!

I'm here twice now and every time was more incredible than the last. I didn't know what to expect when I first decided to dinate in the Saddle Room, but when I finished eating, I was glad I did. Its menu includes an impressive list of grilled steaks and chiffs, as well as pastas, salads and other entrees that combine well with their cocktails. To date, I had (and wildly recommend) the Warren Chop, who was one of the best pig hacks of my life, and their gourmets take on chicken and waffles. In addition to meals, they serve home made bread from the spent grains from their brewery, served with salted maple butter that is for to die. I wish I could tie all this together by recommending a favorite cocktail, but since I enjoyed them all I really didn't. All I can say is, choose everything on the menu, drink or eat wisely, and know that you will be very happy with your choice. My only criticism is that they tend to bring the bread with food if everything I really want is a never-ending supply because it is so good! Probably a smart decision because I would not have room for the rest of their delicious menu.

Great outdoor seating request to be seated under an umbrella. Food Drinks very good! Blueberry Mojoito is a must and the Duck Hash for brunch!

The Saddle Room is a unique restaurant with some nice features. The patio is beautiful. We were seated inside in a booth that had curtains 3/4ths around it. Great for covid. We faced a window that looked out onto the patio. The menu has variety. I chose a pasta dish which was delicious. The staff was busy. We had to wait at times. Did someone call off? Were they short staffed? Not sure, but I was still happy.

Lovely evening outside by the fireplace! Great red wine, salmon salad and a martini for dessert! Plus fantastic attentive service by Nicole! Made my day! Get there quick to enjoy eating outside before it gets too cold!
