Owners not very friendly or welcoming, not a smile or hello between 3 of them.  Ordered Snapper, chips & banana & grilled fish & chips.  N... read more Owners not very friendly or welcoming, not a smile or hello between 3 of them.  Ordered Snapper, chips & banana & grilled fish & chips.  Not a busy night so wasnt expecting to wait 25+ minutes for order then to have it left on the counter while the grilled fish was done.  Batter on the fish was pretty bad and very oily.  Fish wasnt too bad but had no flavour.  Chips were hot & ok, but very oily.  Wouldnt surprise me if they used the cheapest oil available, tasted like it.  Never seen a place where the vinegar was more water than anything else - I mean honestly, there are better ways to save money than watering down the vinegar. Overall would not go back again. Oh - if the owners ever read this: Do you know how bad it looks to have boxes piled up inside where people sit?  If you dont want the fake plants - get rid of them, and the wall under the counter could badly do with a coat of paint.  Improving the look and atmosphere of the place would go far.

The prices alon... read more Cheap, fast and yummy fish and chips !! ???????? Tried for the first time, partner and I got the snapper and barramundi plus $3chips- total $25. The prices alone are a sure win???????????????? Chips and fish were crispy, tartare sauce was good even though its not home-made???? Overall; definitely worth trying if you're around the area ☺️

Best value for money and... read more Now this is fish and chips, like oldschool style piping hot, crunchy batter encases the perfectly cooked, generously seasoned seafood. Best value for money and they always give us more than we order. Highly recommend the squid rings and crab sticks. Chips are as pleasurable in my face hole as the seafood. Owner is very friendly and always down for a chat, despite smashing through orders like there's no tomorrow.
