This restaurant in Hoboken is one of the finest Indian dining establishments. The food here is incredibly authentic, with no American fusion. I sampled their Samosa, Paneer Tikka, Paneer Curry, and Garlic Naan. The Samosa was served piping hot with delicious chutneys. The Paneer was tender and tasted homemade, and the rose lassi was one of the best I have ever had. View all feedback.

As expected from an Indian restaurant, the food was very vegetarian-friendly. We tried the 'Naanchos,' a unique Indian take on nachos with mint and tamarind sauces that provided a perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavors. The samosa chaat was authentic and delicious. For mains, we ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Mixed Vegetable Curry, Garlic Naan, and Cheese Jalapeno Naan. The Paneer Butter Masala was a bit too sweet for our taste, but the mixed vegetable curry was excellent, and the naans were fresh and fluffy. The Cheese Jalapeno Naan was a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the Indo-Chinese Vegetable Fried Rice, which was flavorful and could easily serve more than two people. For dessert, we tried the Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee, a fusion of classic French creme brulee and Indian gulab jamun with a caramelized crust. The kheer was simple yet tasty, one of the best I've had in the States. Recommendations: - Appetizers: Naanchos, Samosa Chaat - Mains: Mixed Vegetable Curry - Desserts: Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee, Kheer Overall, Soul Curry is a must-try restaurant with a unique perspective on Indian cuisine.
The food was delicious! I tried the Delhi butter chicken and it had the perfect amount of spice. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but overall it was wonderful! I will definitely be returning.
A good Indian fusion place in Hoboken. The Naanchos is an innovative dish which has Nachos, Cheese over it and Sweet Chutney on top. The samosas were authentic. Paneer butter masala was sweet so would recommend letting the chef know beforehand on adding some spice. The vegetable curry was unique. The fried rice was pretty good too. Last but not least the gulab jamun creme brulee was very original and tasty and would make this dish to be an innovative one. The service was pretty quick with a great decor and good food.
If you're looking for some authentic Indian taste full of spices, this is the perfect spot! FOOD- We tried Chicken chilli appetizer, Spicy Shrimp curry Madras Fish curry. The curries were simply excellent!! Chef Hari actually came over to ask the patrons if the food was good. I wish they served plain tandoor rotis as well. AMBIENCE- Nice and warm with a touch of Indian art. SERVICE- Good quick.
