Contribute FeedbackThe Turtle Club offers a mix of experiences, with some customers raving about the excellent food and attentive service, while others were less impressed. Some highlights include the flavorful dishes like churrasco, humus, and chicken, as well as the creative dessert menu. However, there were also complaints about slow service, raw chicken being served, and overpriced meals with subpar quality. Overall, the Turtle Club seems to cater well to those looking for a diverse menu and a cozy environment, but consistency in service and food quality may vary.
The Turtle Club is a nifty neighborhood joint with quite a bit of history to back it up.
So, I'm torn with this review, mostly because each time we have eaten here, the food has been really good.
I rarely write Yelp reviews but I feel the need to after having such a HORRIFIC dinner experience at the Turtle Club.
This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant.
I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it.
