We had a great dining experience at Empyrean! The service and presentation of the dishes made a positive impression. The spice level, texture, and taste of the food were enjoyable. Liked the vegetarian platter with well-marinated vegetables, cottage cheese and found the Dal Makhani, served with a slice of ginger, to be delicious. Additionally, the restaurant's convenient location right across from the Hoboken station... View all feedback.
What LightPacker660912 doesn't like about Empyrean Indian Kitchen:
Very disappointed with how bland a lamb rogan josh I ate there was. Rogan Josh is meant to have relatively strong spices but this was just a smooth and tasteless gravy. Good portion of meat, but not the flavor I expected from an Indian restaurant. No printed menu you have to download it but then they charged me a higher price than the menu said. We hosted a birthday dinner and the service, food was amazing! Especially our server Chandu was very clear with the serving size, preferable food suggestions and time remaining for food arrival making it a great experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Worth every penny. Really tasty and flavorful Indian food .specifically the malai kofta was melt in the mouth perfectly made with flavors on point.
The best upscale, classy and very very clean Indian restaurant in Hoboken. but after ordering food from Empyrean there is only coming back for more. Best for dine in and take out. Excellent menu for both Meat eating and veggie folks. Friendly staff and really good Drinks Menu too. we love their chole and Bombay aloo. They use all ecofriendly cutlery for takeout so can almost have a guilt free meal without worrying about the plastic box.Honestly, we were always disappointed with options along the JC to Edgewater area. Now this our only go to place.
