Apulia exudes a cozy charm, offering a delightful ambiance for pizza lovers. Diners rave about the wood-fired pizzas, especially favorites like Murgese. While appetizers and desserts often impress, opinions on pasta are mixed, with some dishes described as underwhelming. Service can be a swift affair, occasionally feeling rushed, and wait times for food may test patience. A recent change means Apulia is no longer BYOB, and prices may not align with everyone’s expectations. Overall, Apulia offers great food; however, diners should be prepared for variable service experiences.
Food was excellent but 2 pies took 45 min. Kids had already finished their dinners and were almost finished with dessert by the time our food finally arrived. Server was of course non apologetic.
I'm guessing this is a hit or miss kind of place. The pizza was delicious, I would put them on par with Porto. The main course was disappointingly small (appetizer size) and had no flavor. We had the pappardelle pasta with asparagus and mushrooms. Ibarely saw the asparagus and the mushrooms were about three pieces cut into 20. Suffice it to say we were starving at the end ofthe meal. The desserts were fresh and amazing. The wine was underwhelming. Not a huge selection. Service was fast, felt a bitrushed, you barely finish the last bite and they whisked away the plate, so if you're looking for a nice conversation with yourdate, leave some food on the plate so you won't be interrupted. I was surprised at the paper napkins versus real ones for theprice point. The atmosphere is a nice, cool date spot to go to, they designed it to be clean, cozy with a bit of rusticcharm. I'd give it another try but stay away from the pasta if you are hungry. Stick to the pizza.
