Watermans Beer Market - Hobart

Received a great welcome and chose a couple of pints of lovely local beer. Sat outside and then ordered our meals. They took a long time to arrive and when they did, one meal was over done and the other extremely over cooked, so much so it was tasteless and more or less inedible. I should have complained but the meal was allowed to leave the kitchen by a chef who obviously didn't care and I'd lost my appetite. They missed out on further custom from us as we'd probably have made an evening of it and bought several more beers.

We spent a pleasant hour enjoying the cliff in the small and charming rear garden, then a further ten minutes laughing at the quirky toilets. Go and see them.

Friendly staff were handing out Pizza tasters, the kids like it so we stayed for a meal. Schnitzels, burgers, Pizzas and a few more interesting options. Large portion sizes. All around $16.90. I would go back.

Had lunch here after collecting our key for the apartment upstairs. Really good range of beers on tap and $10 lunch pizzas were delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient

We were drawn in by the $10 pizza signs and the word beer. Service was good. Pizzas were good for $10 but the rest was very plain. Croquets and wings were tasteless and southern fried chicken burgers had no spice or flavour which was a major let down. We are staying in tassy for a week and won't bother going back.
