great service and location. here at my partner late jan, absolutely beautiful accommodation, excellent Covid procedure they do not need to see someone to check, we went down to the bar, but they could have as many or as few people as they comfortably with. eating was great that we spent one night in our room. they would recommend it and stay back. What User doesn't like about Waterman's:
We stayed in a room with no view...in fact there was a dead bird outside our window! The room was nice and the stone walls were unique. Bath was superb. The whole place needs a bit of love including the carpet, light fixtures and cleaning the windows. The location though is tops. You can't get any closer to Salamanca if you tried. Thought their $10 pizza was excellent value. Big feed for one, good snack for two. My $5 bubbly was nice too. Nice atmosphere and location. Has a large cocktail list too.
We loved it here. Great communication with owners and location was perfect to see beautiful Hobart. Recommend for any couple. No parking onsite, but the hotel made it easy to know where to go.
Stayed in Hobart for work and stayed upstairs in the apartments but had the most fantastic afternoon at the bar. Barman recommended some Tasmanian wine and orders their prawn skewers, Salami and flat bread. All delicious. Staff were excellent and not to over the top as I have found before when i dine on my own. Overall will definitely be coming back next time I am in Hobart.
The staff and owners of this bar are amazing. We have have had such a great time here. They are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend an afternoon here.
We went there for a birthday out in the back area they used for the function room. It drinks were good and the bar staff were friendly. Didn’t go much on the cocktail finger food though. But that could just be me being picky as the people who I was with were happy with the food. Will certainly go back again for drinks.
