What russell c doesn't like about Midori:
My friend and I were the only dine in customers. There was not enough of the wine I ordered for a glass and no more bottles of one of the only two reds on the menu. We both ordered the pork katsu. It was very very very very very dry. Barely edible. View all feedback. What Damien M likes about Midori:
We ate here on a couple of occasions whilst visiting Tasmania. Midori is a modest Japanese restaurant that serves delicious food. Loved the tempura and Una don. The sashimi was lovely and cleverly presented. Generous portions of seaweed salad in the sets. It's BYO and the staff are pleasant. View all feedback.

read moreMidori Japanese Cafe and Eatery in Sandy Bay offers a cozy and welcoming environment, with friendly staff and a wide variety of Japanese dishes to choose from. The menu includes options like Kaarage chicken in Lotus Bun, Teriyaki Chicken, Gyoza Dumplings, Katsu, Ramen, Sushi, and more. The portions are medium-small, but the flavors are delicious. The restaurant is not fine dining but more of a casual cafe setting, perfect for a quick meal. Prices are reasonable, and there are vegetarian and vegan options available as well. Overall, Midori provides a tasty and satisfying Japanese dining experience in a comfortable atmosphere.
