Lime & Lemongrass - Hobart

I have had take away from here several times - I have not had a dud meal yet. Great variety of vegetables in the meals. Reasonable sizes for the prices. Good variety. I agree: delish!! Friendly staff (a front of house person and a cook). Well worth a visit.

Was really impressed with the quality of food here. All of the dishes were very tasty. A small venue, older decor and just two people working there but producing amazing food.

Having read about the poor reviews, I thought I'd still give this place a go.Keep in mind, I ordered desert only, no coffee or main meal.My experience was:Fried banana:- Good fried banana, tasty.- ice cream was icy and of poor quality. Not the sort of ice cream I would serve in a restaurant.- Our table was not offered water.- Service was friendly.- Would not return for desert.This restaurant looks promising and is on the cheaper side of establishments but has a cold feeling to it, being painted as the namesake, lime and lemongrass. The biggest tell tale for restaurant quality in the short restaurant strip in Bellerive is found by using the good old walk the street trick to see how busy places are.Cugini, a popular restaurant nearby was jam packed whilst Lime and Lemongrass had four people in it. This speaks for itself.

The best Thai food. Got green curry and cashew nut chicken and they are great taste! Friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely go back next time!

The soup, curry, and stir-fry all just tasted overly sweet and sugary - clearly their favorite ingredient! The quality of the vegetables was also very poor with minimal variety in their stir fry except cabbage, carrots, zucchini and onions. I would not recommend this place if you are someone who enjoys flavor in your food or has any standards about quality of ingredients.
