The atmosphere, with its historic charm and John Glover's art, was pure magic. Sadly, the service from the waitstaff was completely inattentive. They sat us down and then were nowhere to be seen, only briefly interacting with us to take our order. There was no follow-up to see how the steak was cooked or if we needed anything else. Even when my husband needed a refill on his drink, the waitress was nowhere to be found. It seemed the only way to get anyone's attention was to walk to the front to pay the bill upon leaving. The calamari was tender and flavorful, the king fish was expertly cured and full of taste with a pleasing texture. The steaks were a standout- cooked precisely as requested and bursting with flavor and freshness. The mashed potatoes were delightful! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful- special thanks to Leigh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a top quality steak. Thank you for making my friend's birthday a memorable one.
