I have seen some complaints about the sizes of portions in Franklin, but my partner, and I ordered the option "Feed Me" for dinner and were so full that we could barely move! And we would skipped lunch on this day. Grief

The food was very nice, especially the cured fish that should die, and the leek. We have 8 courses, including dessert (with bread with excellent salted butter, along with a to start oysters) fo... View all feedback.
What Antonietta Ryan doesn't like about Franklin:
next, I really tried to try betsey....The diners sit on one side of the table while the staff on the other side goes on business about their tasks. I liked that, it made me like a part of the process I suspect. the menu is a bit too small for my lust, but I guess something has to be compromised with such a small room. After I said that, I quickly decided on something I liked. beef, beef, beef, beef and veal View all feedback.

Great factory-like setup with an intriguing menu and a good wine list.
Great looking place but unfortunately the staff let it down.
Hobart has a great dining scene with many interesting restaurantsI decided to give Franklin a try based on some positive Yelp reviews.
Jubilee evening heart. Both vegetarians, which I made on the online booking, which I made in short, recently. Our waiter did not seem to know that, but after he set us, he came back with a vegetarian menu. 5 options, and he suggested that 2 people use 4-5 options to be sure that 4-5 options should be preserved. The prices were from 20-36 $ per court. The wine list was between $ 66-130 per bottle. I sparked $ 19 to two glasses, which was fine but overpriced, and $ 77 on a bottle that was delicious. Although I have to say that the list is a bit dark, it is deliberately favoring natural wines. Anyway. Then ordered 3 dishes. The food was fine, I think. The last court was the option of $ 36. It was a flat plate of written polenta, about 12 spinach leaves and shaved fresh truffles. It was tiny. There was not even a lot of truffles. We were still hungry, but did not want to play $ 20 on something tiny. Decided for another glass for a dessert. I have ordered a gamay that was completely faulty (from Brettanomyces and VA), and when I told the server, he insisted that the wine was like it should be. No attempt to offer another option ... The service was otherwise not terrible, but the staff was indifferent and not very attentive. The whole night was extremely expensive, and the whole vibe felt excessively presumptuous. We have pizza on the way home because we still starve. Never go back.
