A word to the wise. On 03/04/2015 we had lunch at your restaurant. We made reservations almost 2 weeks prior. It's okay, but I feel that it exceeded a bit for what it is - North Hobart's response to a "simple" feed solution that fits kids and adults.
I chose Chowder tonight ($ 20). Bland, not creamy stocks with two small pieces of tasteless fish and two, whom I would say frozen shrimp. Oh and four crermons. I asked the Maitre D 'if this was the standard share serving Oer and he answered yes. Will not hurry.
Pretty base can cook better at home TBH. The service was nice, but they did not have much stock to make some meals on the menu that was pretty stupid
After work visited for easy dinner. I had the herbs Trevalla on Safran Mash and asparagus. Hubby had the Macadamia encrusted salmon he loved, and the little one had penne with homemade bolognese. My fish was ok, but unfortunately tasted a bit watery. The asparagus was strong tasting and the saffron also a bit watery. The bowl of chips was huge and they were well seasoned and served hot. Next time, sick likely remains on the fish packaging, which always good down.
Macadamia Crusted Salmon was the choice for dinner tonight. Decor is nice, not overcrowded. If I lived in Hobart, I would return to try other dishes
