Beyond a bargain! Incredible Spanish degustation menu with matching wines. Spanish music, dancers and performers as well as the James Tyrell art experiences. Would have paid double the amount for half the experience! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Faro:
what an absolute disappointment! birthday dinner for 4 of us at $350 per person was not worth the money. our waiter was good, Spanish eating complicated, but ok, was said that we get a sommelier and museum release wines that I don't think we have. they also said that no more wein was available from a waiter and margheritas were poured from a dose, because the barman was ready at 9 o'clock. don't waste your money. The otopus, the cauliflower and the cheese were fantastic. great value for money and would definitely recommend to anyone who visits mona!
What an incredible find while visiting the Mona Museum! We had a wonderful view of the water and lush trees, along with amazing service and delicious food to share. The cauliflower and hummus appetizer was bursting with flavor, followed by a decadent risotto with kale. The lamb and grains dish was perfect for a cold winter day. And we must mention the fabulous latte we enjoyed, served in a beautiful pink cup.
Rated 4.6, this restaurant provided a great experience from multiple perspectives. Located at one end of the Mona facility, it may be difficult to find but is definitely worth the search. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with exceptional views and delicious food. Our party of five thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were impressed with both the taste and presentation. My grilled Bass Strait octopus with green gazpacho, almond mayonnaise, guindilla pepper, and mint was a standout dish and the best I have had in months. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.
This restaurant is a great choice for a date night, especially after a day spent at Mona. The restaurant has a nice view and I would definitely recommend it. The portion sizes of the food were very generous for the price.
Located at the Museum of Old and New Art, accessible via a lift near the front of through the museum. I had a sweet corn risotto, Madeira and Black Pearl dessert. All lovely. Quite a bit of balsamic vinegar on the salad with the risotto, but great texture. Interesting gold cutlery.
