Went to 176 for High Tea , last Sunday so looking forward to it. What a disappointment. Booked as per the website the week before. We arrived and we're seated first thought beautiful quaint Cafe lovely decore.Young chat came over to take order for drinks and explained "endless pots " of tea however first coffee is free and after that further would need to be paid for.Order taken and 2 small 3 tier plates arrived 1 savoury 1 sweet. Certainly the size and quantity of the food did not match the photos on the website. As I had booked for 5 one had expected there would be 5 of each food to try. This was not the case. It states on the website also that all food is cooked fresh on the day , food was heated in microwave and some items were clearly not hand made. Majority of the food was enjoyable however. We asked for another pot of tea and waited 30minutes . We then asked again and sat both empty pots on the counter. These were looked at several times by the young male on duty but ignored as we were. The Cafe was not busy only 2 x 2 other parties there at the time they were having breakfasts . After 45 minutes waiting for another " endless pot" of tea we decided to leave and go elsewhere for another drink. Paying $25 each was very over priced for what we received. The customer service was non existent the staff on that day need to think is this the industry for them? I have been to a lot of High Teas and this would be the worst. I don't think I would even bother to try again. We were all Really very disappointed after all the fantastic reviews .
