: It's ok let's support local. But I think more oil than butter is used. Not even buttercream, some hard as a rock cookies. The $6.50 ginger cookie *gasp* has ginger, so it was kinda legit. I wouldnt trust any icing from this place tho. It's seems oily. View all feedback.
I have to say, Bundesbäckerei made herself! That was my wedding cake 12/06/2020. Not only did it taste amazing, it was the most beautiful cake! I didn't want real flowers or fondant on my cake and they just nailed it! And the glitter scatters they suggested were the perfect thing! I loved everything about my cake! 10/10 would recommend for weddings or cakes! It was also an amazing price! You should sincerely demand more for them!
My husband bought a cake from here for my birthday a couple of days ago. Omg it’s the best birthday cake I’ve had in a long time. Love the almond flavoring in the white cake! And can’t say enough good things about the buttercream. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

There are so many thing I love about this bakery! Let’s start with convenience. The selection of grab and go items is awesome. The Individual slices of cake, small packages of cookies, and small loaves of bread make it so easy to run in and quickly be on your way. Perfect for the busy mom or person wanting a last minute work treat. Next the taste. The yeast rolls are melt in your mouth flaky goodness. They come packaged in a specialty pan that lets you select however many you want and pop them in the oven for a quick warm up. It was $7.35 for a dozen. My cake was one of their fan favorites a very light in texture cake topped with a creamy almond flavored icing….delicious! A cake slice is $4.85, with the slice big enough for 2 servings. Located in the shopping plaza next to the Hixson Goodwill, parking is plentiful. They offer custom cakes as well.
This is THE go-to place for birthday cakes in Chattanooga or anytime you need a cake for a special occasion! Their frosting is the best. The cake is so moist and delicious. The strawberry cupcakes are great, too. They always do a great job with my last minute orders!
