Everything we ate was wonderful! Our server was friendly but unintrusive. The place is comfortable, not overly crowded with too many seats crammed into too little space. When this Chef finally wins her well-deserved James Beard award, you'll never get a seat, so get there now! View all feedback.
What Rebecca Watson doesn't like about St John's Meeting Place:
The food was good. We had duck, beet salad, and scallops. Our server was very good and knowledgeable. However, the hostess was rude when we arrived and when we left. We told them it was our anniversary but no one acknowledged it, even though they acknowledged another couple’s anniversary right next to us. The booth portion of our table was extremely uncomfortable, and we were sitting on top of the people next to us. View all feedback.
The old fashion was usually mixed. the trout had crispy skin?, the flesh was perfectly spiced. the kartoffeln seemed out of place tho and they were only fried.
We celebrated here the 30th birthday of my daughter and were pleasantly surprised! everything from the atmosphere to the service and eating was amazing! had not the names of the two men up who took care of us, but they have made a wonderful job! I will be back in any case!
Great place to celebrate an occasion or just a nice dinner! fantastic special cocktails, delicious entrees and amazing desserts!
Food is fantastic. Like the ambience. Our waiter was super, very knowledgeable
What a wonderful experience at Meeting Place. Started with Red Snapper Crudo followed by Trout with Mushroom and Potato Hash and MP Fried Rice with Pork Shoulder and Pork Belly. Everything was delicious and the portions were just right. The Red Wine was $5.00 a glass before 7:00 and tasted like a $20 glass. Service was really good and we will be back often. We had two appetizers, two entrees, five glasses of wine, and one dessert and the bill (before tip) was just over $100. We would have happily paid more (but don't tell the restaurant owners).
