I'v... read more Been here a handful of times. Always great service from the waiters. Sometimes the runners need to think.. if you bring something with fries, offer ketchup. I've gotten oysters, fried fish, test kitchen items and sushi. All great for a legal (Boston area locations are not that great). New decor is good, but I enjoyed the old look. Lots of space though, usually never packed.

The lobster... read more Hesitant to try this place out because of others stating it's overrated. We went here last minute for lobsters rolls and didn't leave disappointed. The lobster meat was fresh with big chunks of the claws. The best part about the meal was the roll--very buttery and sweet. The roll itself was LARGE. Definitely could have split with my companion as we both only ate 1/2. We also ordered calamari which was crispy/spicy. Service was excellent and attentive. Overall the seafood was comparable to other local places by the water and I would recommend to those visiting the area to check out.

Reservations are a must in all of the restaurants around... read more Anticipating getting dinner after Christmas shopping at the Derby Shoppes. Made reservations at Legals. Reservations are a must in all of the restaurants around the Derby Shoppes as well as any Legals Restaurants. Sat on time. Service was excellent. Attentive, friendly, polite and professional. Food was delicious and delicious. The only quirks I have are the chowder was lukewarm and the food servers literally dropped the dishes on the table rather than place them as appropriately in front of the right diners. Also, dropping French fries from our orders onto the floor and not cleaning up after. Afraid that the French fries on the floor could be a hazard and an accident waiting to happen, I picked up the fries off the floor so that nobody will slip on them. However, will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
