We came upon this place after a quick search of local food. The rating is good so we dropped by to give it a shot. Me and my friends all ordered something.I got the lobster roll which was absolutely amazing. It was packed with fresh lobster meat and tasted so delicious. I recently visited the Lobster Pound for the first time in over a year. I usually enjoy Tony's Clam Shop because they offer clam bellies. However, despite HINGHAM Lobster Pound advertising clam bellies on their menu, I was disappointed to find out they did not actually serve them. I have never written a negative review before, but I got food poisoning at this place two days ago. I was sick all night with vomiting, shaking, headaches, and chills. The woman who took my money and brought back the food was rude and didn't cook properly, or maybe they served me old haddock. I do not recommend eating here. I paid $20 for a terrible experience. I want to drive by and let them know how awful their food made me feel. Avoid this place at all costs. Lunch cost around $20-30 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5.
