I booked tickets to see Luka Bloom, and while the doors were advertised to open at 6:30, we were still waiting at 7:00. Ultimately, we had to wait until 8:30 for the concert to start.
Great local pub. Way above average food and very happy people doing the service
I attended last night's concert featuring Rickie Lee Jones, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. She truly deserves a more intimate performance setting, but GOV production failed to deliver on that front. The venue felt overcrowded, making it more like being packed into a can of sardines than enjoying a concert suited for an artist of her caliber. To make matters worse, the staff seemed totally unaware of the patrons' discomfort; we ended up sitting in the beer garden without speakers, unable to hear a single note. It took significant effort just to get someone to turn on the outdoor heaters, leaving us to freeze in the meantime. It's unacceptable for them to take our money and offer such poor conditions. Many people left well before Rickie Lee Jones concluded her set, which speaks volumes about the overall dissatisfaction of the evening. It's a shameful showing from GOV production.
