Islanders' Tavern - HINDMARSH ISLAND

We ate here two nights in a short holiday. The food was really great, the staff was very friendly. Wonderful wide menu.

Beautiful location in the marina on Hindmarsh Island near Goolwa, looking out over the Murray River, boats and marina. Great range of items on the menu, all types of different cuisine and prices are reasonable. We have been several times, always great. Last weekend was for a birthday party with 15+ people, from a 1 year old in a high chair to people in their 80's and everybody enjoyed it. Meals were served quickly. Friendly, welcoming staff and they happily catered to our needs, such as providing a high chair and bringing a birthday cake. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

One of the best schnitzels I've had in a long time!! I highly recommend coming here for a meal. The service is friendly, the location is spectacular and the food is delicious.

Have been to the Islanders Tavern a few times for dinner and had a great experience each time but went for lunch over the long weekend and the view was wonderful. Was a gorgeous day, loved looking over the marina even saw a seal putting on a show. The staff were super friendly and helpful at all times they really went above and beyond. The menu is very extensive but we settled on pub classics which were delicious and generously sized as well as reasonably priced. There's a large grassed area next door and playground for the kids to enjoy. Would definitely recommend visiting!

Had dinner here on Monday night and the food was spectacular as usual. Third time here now and tried several different speciality menus ... everything sensational. Be adventurous and order from the themed blackboard menu, you will not be disappointed .... perfectly balanced, perfectly seasoned, generous servings, great service, great outlook ... cannot fault a thing. Will be a regular dining option for us, thank you.
