There were swarms of mosquitoes, and the only source of light came from a parking lot lamp shining down on us. Our waitress took our order but didn't return until it was time for the bill. We ordered lemon pepper wings, but they had no lemon—just salt and pepper. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, the mac and cheese was dry, the sweet potatoes were undercooked and drenched in sugary water, and the salmon was not properly cooked. I tried to find the waitress to express my concerns, but she was nowhere to be found. The man with the remote from earlier, who I assume was the manager or owner, approached our table and only offered to box up the food. I didn’t want a to-go box; I wanted it taken off my bill! He insisted I had eaten the food, which was untrue since it was still on my plate. He offered 50% off my watered-down drink and the awful food, but that still left our bill at $85, including my husband’s meal. As a manager or owner, it’s unprofessional to walk around the restaurant sipping red wine in front of customers. Plus, his attitude was terrible! He never apologized for our waitress being absent. Instead, he came off as arrogant and condescending, as if he were above it all. All he had to do was communicate about any kitchen delays. Oh, and I noticed he was serving tables near us instead of our waitress! The live band could have been enjoyable, but the female singer was off-key and not suitable for the performance. The band itself was fine, but she was not. If you're considering this restaurant, I strongly advise against wasting your time and money here.
