I've been visiting HH for many years now, and Java has always been one of my favorites. However, I must say that I've been disappointed with the drop in quality. The flavors and quality of the ingredients have deteriorated, and the service is lacking as well. Additionally, I've never seen a customer-facing business allow its employees to wear loud over-the-ear headphones while interacting with customers. Another nearby chain has started to match them in terms of quality.
Every year I look forward to going to Java Burrito for a fish breakfast burrito and coffee. So good!!
I've seen pictures of the food at this restaurant for years and was finally in the area to give it a try. My daughter and I were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the staff were quite unfriendly, and the food was truly disappointing. I can't even fully express how bad it was, but I'll do my best. We spent $48 on two burritos, queso, guacamole, salsa, chips, and two drinks. While this is a bit on the expensive side, I wouldn't have minded if the food had been good. The sweet tea was the worst I’ve ever had in South Carolina, and both the chicken and steak had an unpleasant taste—like instant meat, for lack of a better comparison. The queso was inedible; it was nothing like any queso I've ever tasted. We ended up tossing most of our meal and headed to another place for dinner. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Save your time and money—it's just not worth it.
Cute place, the turmeric latte was awesome. They associates with should be nicer though!
Great little spot. Starbucks meets chipotle and ends up better than both. Trash cans openings were too small.
Java Burrito has quickly emerged as a beloved dining spot on Hilton Head Island, celebrated for its fresh, vibrant Mexican and Southwest-inspired cuisine. Patrons rave about the flavorful burritos, bowls, and tacos, often likening the experience to an upscale Chipotle, but with a superior twist. The menu boasts an array of tasty options, including Beyond Meat offerings and innovative coffee drinks like Crème Brûlée lattes. With an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, it’s a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. Just be prepared for occasional lines, as this popular eatery is worth the wait!.

An absolute must try. Super Friends staff, clearly marked veg options and now has meat that they did not offer my last trip to the island. I always make sure I stop here when I go through
I got a burrito with lots of veggie fixings and peach salsa on the wheat wrap. It was AMAZING, and huge. I also got a latte with almond milk and sugar free vanilla flavoring. Also incredible. The staff was so helpful and the decor inside was nice. It's cool to see a quick farm to table restaurant. I even got a hoodie! Well worth it, please go here and try for yourself. My only complaint is that the potatoes were extremely oil soaked.
We were treated right away by an employee who was very familiar with veganism. He showed us everything we could eat and even listed off ingredients if we asked for specifics. The food was very fresh and tasted wonderful. I recommend getting potatoes on your order! We will be back.
Very yummy iced coffees here, we got a toasted marshmallow and coconut iced coffees with almond milk and coconut milk and it was very good. We also went back and created our own burrito and burrito bowl and they were very yummy as well. Great staff and atmosphere. Would definitely go back
Fresh, local ingredients for dishes, burritos, tacos and salads. delicious!

Great option for healthy lunch, good kids menu, nice area on the shade outside to eat plus the margaritas look delicious! (Translated by Google) Excellent choice for a healthy lunch, a good menu for children, a nice area in the shade to eat, besides the margaritas look delicious!
Java Burrito is fantastic! It's like a more upscale Chipotle with fresh ingredients. The coffee is always delicious and the atmosphere is really cute. Honestly, a lot of people talk about restaurants in Hilton Head, but this place is my favorite on the island!
I needed a non-shellfish option while my family was eating shrimp. I decided to go vegetarian and was impressed by the options available. The burrito was amazing. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was still very friendly and the line moved quickly.
We tried Java Burrito for breakfast for the first time this year. We had heard they had coffee good, and we were looking for a good local spot. It’s a great fusion of Mexican/Southwest food and coffee. We got the Egg and Chorizo burrito, which you can then choose your toppings (from rice and beans, to lettuce, pico, and guac). You’re sure to find something you want to add to your burrito (they also have bowl, taco, and I believe quesadilla options). The burrito was very flavorful, with only the freshest ingredients. We also got the Crème Brûlée latte, iced. Great flavor, not too sweet, and a good coffee flavor (not burnt). Overall, a great experience. Staff was friendly, food and coffee were great. I would highly recommend you check it out. (Translated by Google) We try Java Burrito for breakfast for the first time this year. Similar to Chipotle but better! I ordered a vegetable bowl and it was really good, the fajita veggies were delicious, and there was a lot of food for the price. They also have an espresso bar, I tried a coffee milkshake with Baileys and it was incredibly tasty! A refreshing take on fast food.

First time visiting. My vegan burrito was amazing. Thank you for catering to vegans!!! I will definitely be returning on each visit to the island. My non vegan wife said her chicken bowl was amazing also.
Java Burrito is a fantastic spot for a lunch at Hilton Head (especially for frequent Chipotle goers, although you may find it hard to go back). The protein options and sides/toppings are all freshly prepared with rich, robust flavors. My bowl wasdelicious and will leave you filled without the sodium bloat that you often get from the national Mexican food chains. This isdefinitely one of the must stop spots in Hilton Head when in town!
Well I?m magically appeared here twice this week and both back to back. The coffee and the food are top-notch people keep saying there was no perfect match for Mexican food on the island or even a South Carolina well they?re dead on wrong. I?m very precisein the food we and this place was very consistent I?ve never had coffee like this before tacos and bowls are good too.Definitely coming here again. Be aware though there can be lines at times.
Very good food and pretty quick service. We came for lunch and it was busy. Kinda like a nicer Chipotle. The lime margarita was okay. We would definitely come here again.
Exactly what you?d think an organic, local burrito spot would be. Very clean, fresh ingredients, friendly staff and unique/enjoyable seating areas. Line was about 25 minutes long on Black Friday, but worth the wait. Prices were very reasonable, highly recommend.
