In fact the waitress brought the wrong drink because she did not hear the order correctly. All of the wait help were very attentive.

I had the K... read more Wasn't expecting much with the reviews of this place. We ate here to use some of our Hilton diamond credit from the hotel. The server was excellent. I had the Kahlua pork pizza. The marinara sauce on it is completely unnecessary with the addition of the bbq sauce. The taste was very good. Prices are a little bit higher than comparable restaurants in Hilo, but not out of line. It's convenient to have the restaurant at the hotel for takeout back to your room. Happy hour is 4pm-8pm with some nice drink specials. We ordered a couple pizzas the next night to take back to our room. I would suggest reservations if you don't want to wait, since their seating is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

But I'm genuinely embarrassed I ordered from Hula Hula's and would urge you not to waste your money here. The food is fine, but the portions areunjustly small for the cost of the food. I decided to splurge and order $25 calamari. I knew it was a bit pricey, but I was SOdisappointed by the portion. We got about 14 pieces of calamari for $25. That's nearly $2 per piece. When we called to nicelyinform the restaurant and tell them about the mistake, we hoped they would replenish the calamari, offer a refund, or give somegesture. But they informed us that the size was correct and offered no apologies. It was so disappointing. The thai place intown has better calamari for much cheaper, available via DoorDash in much more reasonable portions. Food here is fine but shouldbe priced accordingly.

We stayed at the hotel for a week, so needless to say we tried a few things here. Pizza was delicious, ribs were tender, fries wereaddicting, jumpo shrimp cocktails, drinks were perfect, and the views were the cherry on top for us.
