This place is proof that you don't need to wear a cowboy hat in Texas to make fantastic barbecue. The meats will make your spurs spin on your boots. I ate a stampedes worth of food. I tried the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork 3 meat combo and all of them were slow cooked to perfection with a smokey taste of savory wonder. The Mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes are infused with that smokiness as well. Also tried... View all feedback.
The food was good, staff was friendly but they always seem unprepared. Items on the menu not available, drinks not chilled etc. but it looks clean and they seem to enjoy what they are doing and that always makes for a better end product. While most items on the menu seem reasonable priced, the chicken wings are a little pricy in my opinion. $2.00 for a singe small wing seems a bit high but who knows what cost increases they have incurred. Keep up the good work RRC!
Great place! Quick and convenient to grab dinner for the family. A tad pricy but worth it.
This place is Cafeteria or Takeout quality BBQ food. The high ratings from other posters must be mostly people who don't know what good or even decent BBQ food tastes like, or are just happy with the modest prices. We dined in early on a Friday evening, with few other patrons there. We ordered a three meat platter with two sides: The food was served cold. Two out of the four ribs had barely any meat on them, so really we were only served 2 1/2 ribs not four. The brisket and pulled pork were mediocre. The mac and cheese was disappointing, with far too much pepper that it was inedible for our kids (small tip in general: don't go nuts putting so much pepper in everything; it overwhelms the flavor of the dish, and if people want pepper they easily add pepper themselves). In general everything was just mediocre. The place was dirty with visible dust all over the tables and chairs. The Staff was nice and helpful so I am giving stars for them.

Also tried the Defibrillator sandwich, appropriately titled after how much I ate, and it was an an absolute splendor. I drove an hour to get here and it was more than worth the drive. Really nice and welcoming staff as well who were incredibly patient and accommodating. You won't be moving a lot afterwards, but you'll sure be mooing!
I tried the Ribs and Chicken as well as the cheesy mashed potatoes and baked beans. All very good. To me this is the best bbq spot in Bergen, worth a try if your in the area.
