May I say not normally a big fan of Chinese food and haven't eaten it for years, but I was having a craving for Combination Short & Long Soup. I ordered online to take away and was disappointed. Quick service ready as promised, very nice and tasty soup. When picking up the restaurant had quite a number of tables full who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Now located at Hillsdale. What User doesn't like about Red Jade:
Since moving to this new location from down the road the prices have really increased a lot. As for the food, its ok but the dishes are loaded up too much with onions and if i order a chicken dish I expect chicken and a variety of vegetables not some chicken/veg pieces among a ton of onion. Food is always fresh of Excellent Value. The Staff are great people too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Excellent variety of dishes and all nicely cooked. Home delivery always arrives quickly and piping hot. Very nice people to deal with too.
Friendly staff. Nice reception..Food was ok. Ordered noodles, stir fry, pork buns and crispy chicken.. Flavouring was ok, only in comparison to other restaurants similar to this caregory, I found it a tad bland and a little overpriced. Quiet atmosphere..Tidy. Easy location. Has parking .Family friendly. Seating capacity I think around 150? BYO. Conveniently located.
My favourite little Chinese restaurant that I visit almost weekly. Lovely owners, good service, very very reasonably price. Traditional style food. Great you can walk in, in a pair of shoes and runners!
Great Chinese food. Was yet to find a good chinese food restaurant since moving around Matraville/Maroubra area and finally came across this gem. Good service and yummy food.
