The Antojitos House - Hillsboro

Wow, just wow! The food here is absolutely delicious. We tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all fantastic. The carnitas were packed with flavor, and the sauce that accompanies the empanadas is simply incredible. The beans served with the plantains have a delightful hint of chocolate. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant was fantastic! I tried the pupusas, but the standout dish was a sandwich made with plantains instead of bread. I can't recall the name, but it might sound unusual—it was actually crunchy and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it for a unique dining experience!

Wow! What an incredible local find! It's situated in a strip mall, so it may not stand out at first glance, but the food is absolutely exceptional! The owner is incredibly friendly and is happy to answer any questions about the menu. I tried the shredded beef Arepa, which was AMAZING, and a fully loaded Baleada (made from scratch with tortilla, eggs, beans, chorizo, and avocado) that was equally delicious. It paired perfectly with the house hot sauce and crema. I also enjoyed their house horchata, which had lovely cinnamon notes and was just the right balance—not too sweet or thick. It was refreshing on a hot day. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu that catches my eye, especially the patacon, tajadas, and my next breakfast—desayuno típico! They also offer vegetarian and some vegan options for almost every protein.

The food is absolutely delicious and tastes just like homemade! While the prices are a bit on the higher side, you’re definitely paying for quality. I particularly loved their empanadas and patacón, while my boyfriend enjoyed the arepas! The salsa was fantastic as well. Keep in mind that the portions aren’t as large as those at some other places, so be sure to order a few dishes. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely a gem! Fast service and a delicious menu. Our go-to favorites are the arepas, empanadas, pupusas, and bistec encebollado. We love the green sauce that comes with the empanadas! I recommend enjoying the empanadas right away, as they lose their crispiness by the time you get home.
