Casey's - Hillsboro
Casey's
Description
Casey’s offers a clean, welcoming environment with friendly and efficient staff, impressing customers especially with its well-stocked liquor and beverage selection for a rural gas station. Fuel prices remain competitive, though items occasionally run out of stock. The pizza receives mixed reviews—praised for taste and freshness by some, while others find it greasy with a sauce that resembles ketchup and a thicker crust than preferred. Service shines during busy times, though kitchen staffing and punctual opening hours could improve, especially on holidays and early mornings. Overall, exceptional customer service and a good variety make it a solid stop.

The woman with short, curly brown hair at Browns was extremely rude when I arrived only five minutes before closing time. She turned off the lights, making it impossible for me to find any phone accessories, as it was too dark to see. This was by far the worst customer experience I have ever encountered.
This Casey?s is exceptionally clean. Staff was kind and efficient. The liquor, beer, wine, and seltzer selection was surprisingly well stocked for a rural gas station. The warm food selection was lacking but we were there at 11:00 a.m. on aweekday so that wasn?t surprising. Fuel prices were on par with that of the region.
I had a disappointing experience with the Nestle double chocolate milk, which had an expiration date of March 2019. I didn't realize it until I was about 20 miles away after drinking some, and it had a strange taste, which prompted me to check. On a positive note, the pizza was delicious. My advice is to always check the expiration dates on drinks.
