My friend took two bites of her meal and didn’t enjoy it because it was poorly seasoned and had too much breading. We brought our concerns to the waitress, but her response was, “Well, you ordered it.” This lack of empathy and customer service was disappointing. As a business owner, I understand the importance of apologizing and seeking ways to improve when a customer is unhappy. The server’s comment felt like she was placing the blame on us. When I expressed our dissatisfaction, she continued to show no empathy and simply stated that food prices are high, so customers should double-check before ordering. While I acknowledge the need for careful ordering, if the food falls short of expectations, the restaurant should take steps to address it. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. They lost a potential loyal customer due to their inadequate customer service. I recommend being cautious when ordering, as they do not offer refunds or any resolution for unsatisfactory meals, and you'll likely feel as if it’s your fault if you’re unhappy.
I chose to order takeout from this restaurant for the first time, and I was very disappointed with both the food and the service. The food was not prepared correctly, and when I brought it to the staff's attention, they hurriedly tried to fix it, but the resolution was poorly executed. When I requested a refund, the manager was rude and spoke to me in a raised voice. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. The staff's attitude and behavior were unacceptable. I suggest looking for a better dining option elsewhere, as this place is not worth your time.
I rated this restaurant four stars mainly due to the delicious calamari appetizer and the flavorful dragon roll. However, the pineapple fried rice was disappointing; it was greasy and lacking in flavor. I hope this was just a one-time issue and not a reflection of the restaurant's overall quality.
My son and I dined at Wild Ginger this past Sunday and were thoroughly impressed. Every dish we tried was excellent—some of the best Asian cuisine we've enjoyed in a long time. The food was perfectly balanced, never greasy or too salty. It was also one of the best dining experiences we've had in several months, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff.
My only mistake at Wild Ginger was assuming the fried rice was a single serving—it was so delicious, and the pineapple presentation was a lovely touch! This was my second visit, and with so many options on the menu, I can’t wait to return. Update: nearly three years later, Wild Ginger is still as tasty as ever! This time, I tried the Buckeye Roll sushi as a starter and discovered my new favorite sushi roll. Definitely a 5/5 experience.
