Came here last Sunday with my wife, mother in law and two grand kids and all went home satisfied, a rare event !!!!The food and portions are very good value for money especially as they have options on portion sizes so nothing is ordered and then left as can be the case elsewhere, great idea.Service and staff were great, seating outside on the front of the shop is adequate for the casual dining theme and you have the... What Gloria Metz doesn't like about Top Catch Fish and Chips:
We got the two serves of barramundi and chips along with 5 squid rings. As the site shows it cost a fraction over $40 for two people, it's more of a tourist tax than anything like your cicerllos etc. your local shop would be half the price. Squid was cooked perfect, very white with batter removed and the fish was tasty. Chips for me were good and I gave them a good old dusting of chicken salt mmm mmm View all feedback.
If you are looking for a casual 'fish 'n chip' place on the boardwalk, this is honestly the best you will find without paying extra for the restaurant environment. It's all order and pickup yourself, as long as you can secure a table at this popular venue you will not leave unhappy. The 'Regular fish and chips' is exceptional value at $14.50, the view nice while slightly crowded but the speedy food preparation makes up for all downfalls. 'Nino's' (use to be 'Sharky's') was once king of the casual fish 'n chip eateries on the boardwalk, 'Top Catch Fish and Chips' absolutely wins now. Well done.
We were in the harbour and thought about fish and chips. Found this little corner while browsing around. We're glad we did. It took va while for the food to come but the fish is very fresh. The chips are crunchy and not too salty. The Greek salad is just okay as the veggies are not as fresh as we expected. The tartare sauce is very nice not too overpoweringly sour. Would come back.

This is the best fish and chips I have ever had.....hands down. The staff are so friendly & accommodating & anyone else that bags them obviously doesn't take the time to get to know people or how a business is run!!!
$20 for sweet lip snapper and chips. Two pieces of very small fish topped up with overcooked chips. Very underwhelming and expensive for what it was.
