I had the challah bread French toast with locally made maple syrup and Jim had the Trolley Stop special with homemade triple berry jam. Both were good. It's a shame that they are closing the doors after next weekend. View all feedback.

I was really happy to find a place nearby with good food. However, I cant give a 5 star rating for this restaurant. They have a terrible waiting system to get seated. They actually dont have a waitlist at all and it is based on whoever is standing right at the door. The last two times we came here we had to wait longer than normal because they have no waitlist or sign up system. You cant leave a name on a list since they dont take it down. They make you wait outside in the cold until someone leaves. Their sign states to please wait to be seated and we called them to let them know that we were outside waiting. They don't communicate with each other because they ended up taking another party before us even though we called them to let them know we were in the car parked right out front of the restaurant. If you dont stand right at the door, they will not seat you and take whoever is standing right at the front instead. The food may be decent for this area but definitely wouldnt want to recommend coming here if you do not want to wait for longer than you should. They let people cut in line before you only because theyre waiting right at the door. The business would prosper if they had a better waiting system and communicated with each other on who should be served next.
I mean how can a place possibly have only 5 star, reviews. Can't be that good... Then we ate there. Damnit, it IS that good. Maybe better than just 5 stars. I mean, home cooked meals, for a reasonable price... What's not to love? Don't believe me? Try it for yourself.
Stopped for a late lunch based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere and great food. I had one of the specials a fried green tomato BLT and my wife had and egg sandwich on gluten free bread with home fries everything was great and prices where very reasonable.
Yes 5 stars! The food is excellent and the service is so great. Also, the scones are heavenly....it taste like home, a big hug and lots of love. Excellent!!!
