The Norse Bakehouse offers a first-class meal with incredible pizzas and delicious desserts. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are lovely. Despite a pricing confusion for lunch, the excellent service and food make up for it. The staff is knowledgeable about wines and the portions are generous. The location is excellent, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. They offer a great lunch menu at reasonable prices and are dog-friendly. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience is highly recommended.

A star on the north coast and a must visit. Gorgeous views over the Kyle from the outside seating. Family run with great service and great chat, the food was fantastic. We had lunch and had to add the sundae to celebrate the sunny day.
Extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered take away pizza and I needed gluten free for my coeliac wife. Absolutely no issues and she had the same choice as me. Both pizzas were excellent (pepperoni and ham/mushroom) as was the lemon cheesecake and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was also gluten free and was moist and rich. Fantastic find.
We visited several times during our week’s holiday near Tongue really delicious pizza, focaccia, cake, cheesecake and hot chocolate and very friendly service. Luckily we walked it all off exploring the area! Highly recommended.
Just what’s needed on the NC500 route. A place that’s welcoming to locals and tourists in equal measures! Accommodating and friendly with delicious food. Nice touches that mean a lot like to bring a separate bowl for me to serve my child his lunch in...
Much enjoyed a delicious Pizza and yummy pudding….anyone travelling on the NC500 ought to stop here for either lunch or supper….warm welcome from lovely Italian family. Don’t drive past thinking you will find anything better up here!
