The Norse Bakehouse offers a first-class meal with incredible pizzas and delicious desserts. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are lovely. Despite a pricing confusion for lunch, the excellent service and food make up for it. The staff is knowledgeable about wines and the portions are generous. The location is excellent, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. They offer a great lunch menu at reasonable prices and are dog-friendly. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience is highly recommended.

Just what’s needed on the NC500 route. A place that’s welcoming to locals and tourists in equal measures! Accommodating and friendly with delicious food. Nice touches that mean a lot like to bring a separate bowl for me to serve my child his lunch in...
Much enjoyed a delicious Pizza and yummy pudding….anyone travelling on the NC500 ought to stop here for either lunch or supper….warm welcome from lovely Italian family. Don’t drive past thinking you will find anything better up here!
Tasty toasted sandwiches in a spectacular setting. Amazing views over Coldbackie beach. Welcome cyclists- and they were the only place around the whole north coast to voluntarily ask if we’d like water bottles topped up. Seems a small touch, but meant a lot.
We visited on a beautiful day. First signs were good. A car park we could fit the motor home in! That was just the start. A walk round the corner lead us to the most perfect ‘garden’ with incredible views. The owners were so welcoming...
Delightful cafe with great views. The food and service was excellent and the staff so friendly. We ended up visiting this cafe on a regular basis during our stay in the area. Highly recommend a visit.
