Contribute FeedbackThyme Restaurant has garnered varied feedback from its patrons. While some diners appreciate the friendly, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere, others express disappointment with the limited menu due to COVID restrictions and the quality of certain dishes. Common grievances include overpriced meals, issues with food preparation, and the use of frozen ingredients. Despite the charming decor and culinary highlights, such as the recommended slow-cooked pork loin, inconsistencies suggest a need for improvement in quality control and kitchen practices. Overall, Thyme Restaurant showcases potential but must address significant shortcomings to elevate the dining experience.
Due to Covid restrictions, the restaurant is currently offering a limited menu. The staff are friendly but the menu options are limited. The only choices available are chili, bolognese, and two types of pizza - pepperoni and margherita. However, they had run out of pepperoni during our visit.
Great food. Great service. What more do you need. Attentive staff but not in your face. I stayed at a competitors for a work overnighter a week ago, this beats it by a fair way.
The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was well set out and staff quickly refilled any shortages. Hot breakfasts were cooked to order and I wish more hotels/restaurants would do the same. To me there is nothing worse than fried eggs with a hard skin on the white because they have been kept warm under a warming lamp. One up to this Premier Inn!
We stopped at this restaurant for a meal after a day of sightseeing. The decor was charming and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was polite, friendly, and efficient. My partner ordered the slow-cooked pork loin chop, which was delicious and tender. I had the Gammon steak which I really enjoyed, although the fried egg was overcooked. We plan to return on our next vacation.
I waited 10 minutes for a drink and it reminded me of a pub in Whiteinch. Then I waited 40 minutes for my gammon steak. It took another 10 minutes to pay my bill at the bar. The menu was not great for the working men staying at the hotel next door. The next night, a group of us went to Frank Benny's where the menu was more appropriate.
