What CornishTimes doesn't like about The Bothy Restaurant And Bar:
We ordered our food and it arrived at our table within minutes. It was faster than a typical Wetherspoons meal. The chips seemed to be frozen, and the vegetarian chicken dish must have been precooked as it was unlikely to have been prepared from scratch in such a short time. More beautiful place, but quiet, as the dinge hopes to be normal again. the personal was friendly, but with not much to do, spent time with puzzles in timeliness. a beer was not great, but the other (red) was good.
Food was terrible quality for the price. A nice place to go for a pint out by the canal but would advise against eating here. Restaurant does not have a nice ambiance and it is annoying to have to constantly hear a doorbell go off every time food is ready for service. Wouldn’t recommend.
I had three meals here this week, all brilliant. the steak pee is amazing and huge and tried the black and the apfelburger who was delicious and great. had chocolate cake that was huge. food prices are very personal helpful and friendly
Slightly overpriced, eat in terrible presentation not so delicious, service unpleasant and not helpful at all. information from the first page of the menu that food is the best quality of local suppliers is a kind of sweat, it can simply not be true. we had very bad experiences and the worst so far during our trip to Scotland. a star it is for many.
I really like this place. I visit every time I'm in august, especially the steak pee. consistently good.
