Contribute FeedbackThe Pulteney People's Project restaurant has received mixed reviews. While some guests have found the menu to be good and well-priced, others have been disappointed by the quality of the food and service. Some have even experienced issues with the manager being unwelcoming and discriminatory. Those looking for a reliable spot in the local community might opt for the Bridge Street Cafe instead. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer generous portions, but guests should be prepared for potential delays in receiving their freshly prepared meals.
Not impressed at all the sandwiches we had were stale and not very tasty at all. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
I have visited Pulteney People's Project three times. Unfortunately, if you have a disability and a support animal, the manager Katrina McNab may ask you to leave. I recently attended a Hobbies group and Katrina McNab told me to leave and not return, simply because she did not like the look of me. It is unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role to act in this manner. Additionally, the food at Pulteney People's Project is not enjoyable and I believe it is better suited for animals than humans. I do not recommend this restaurant and suggest trying the Bridge Street Cafe instead.
Nice tea and coffee and good handmade craft goods to buy. Facilities above average. A nice addition to the Pulteney Distillery visit.
Went a few times while visiting Wick. Not impressed, sorry. The food was bland, ordinary and it took a long time to reach the table. On the day we were there only white bread. No wholewheat. The vegetarian option, Chili, was not available. Same old same old. Staff were ok. Distillery visit was nice.
Cafe within local community complex. Good menu and well priced. Very friendly staff. Only small gripe was that we ordered coffees and cakes after our panini and after 15 minutes of waiting we had to cancel as would not have had time to enjoy as we had prebooked a distillery tour. This was swiftly apologised for and a full refund given for these items. Would we return yes.
